they will steal your money. I am currently talking with the BBB and trying to get my money back. I cancelled their service long ago and now looking at my bank statements, they keep charging my card. What a fraud company.

It's unbelievable that Dropbox cannot be integrated with Chromecast to show my photos on a TV screen. My only option is to use a third party App which casts the whole screen of my Android phone. Even Google Photos and One Drive have this facility and have had for years.

I downloaded Dropbox a few years ago to keep some photos in. Recently, I needed to clear some space on my Mac. Dropbox was taking up a lot of space but I checked the folder and it didn’t seem to have anything important in, so I deleted the program. Very quickly, I realised all of my downloads and documents were gone from my Mac. It turns out that those folders were linked to Dropbox and uninstalling the program also removed every single file from my laptop. I’ve been into my Dropbox account online and none of my files are on there or on the ‘deleted’ folder. I’ve been on the phone to Apple for 2 hours, but they couldn’t help in the end as it’s a third party app. Dropbox doesn’t even have a customer service phone number - I assume because they know they’d have so many complaints.

Be VERY careful. I didn’t realise Dropbox could have control over these folders that I assumed were just on my Mac! I’ve lost everything including projects I’ve spent so much time on. So unhappy.
