I'm amazed they can charge for this... even more amazed after we were stupidly paying them for really crappy software that they would up the price so much on renewal.. Glad they did as we now use Sling, which is better software for a much more reasonable price (Free for scheduling) customer service on deputy is awful and the software is full of bugs that nobody has any idea how to resolve.

I have seen all kinds of cons in my life time, but by far this is the most pathetic. This company charges people for a service they don't use. I run an employment agency so I wanted to leave feedback here, so others can be aware and avoid this company. For the last 4 months I have been charged more than £1000 for 'SMS' usage. I did not pay much attention to my bills, until I was sent a bill of £750 and then something did not add up. I realised that I'm being charged nearly £500 for using SMS. I have never used this feature, since my workers use push notifications and Emails. So I queried this with Deputy. I am happy to share my chats with someone called Aaron Joshua Hilado, from deputy, so other business can see how genuinely thievish this company is: Aaron sent me a confirmation that Deputy has no way of knowing if I am using the SMS Feature. Also, he wanted to know, could you please ask your assistant if she uses it? So, I am being charged for 8800 SMS' that I have never sent, but wait, Deputy has no way of knowing if I did; they just charge me. I have said that I want my money refunded, so Aaron has provided my with a number to call Australia or the US, so I can ask the finance department. This is so insulting. This is basically illegal in the UK, or anywhere. A company has sent me a bill for a service I have not used, and when I ask for an itemised bill for the charges, they have no way of knowing if the items they are charging me for were used. So, how did that come up with the charges? They dont know. Please stay away from these thieves and tell others. My experience is real and my company is CADRE, so you know that it is genuine. Please look for other platforms and I'll be happy to join with others conned by this company to bring a claim against them to protect consumers.

Stay away. Doesn't work as advertised.

Absolutely abysmal support.
We raised a ticket in regards to data export issues ranging from:
Incorrect data
Missing Data
Missing Shifts
Incorrect pay rates
Jumbled up data
Incorrect calculations
Duplicated shifts

Basically what we're paying for the software to do....

In the week and a half we've been trying to get these issues resolved, we've lost two business days, have engaged with four people and still no one has actually started to actually deal with the issues. We passed from pillar to post by very courteous but useless support (based in Singapore) once of which Renz who only works between 22:00 & 07:00 UK time which is obviously no good to us as we are based in the UK.

Does not work as advertised. Stay away.

Recently signed up for this software. Within days none of my employees are able to access the software. It took 4 hours on live chat just to get them to raise a ticket and then i was told it would just take as long as it takes. Really bad service...Avoid!

This is a rubbish app, please stay away from it!! It's cost me thousands of pounds of lost business in days, because my agency workers can't claim shifts, because we are unable to delete shifts. Every time we delete shifts, they reappear and therefore stop the staff from claiming new shifts, because it shows that there is an overlap. Every time you contact Deputy, they have only one or 2 workers available, who tell you that they have 'created a ticket' for you, or that they have 'escalated it' to their support teams. So, I've been losing business for weeks while waiting for the support team to delete two shifts. After nearly a week of raising the same issue, one of the 'escalating' crew told me that 'there are things beyond our control'. During free trials, they dont tell you that the app is beyond their control, or that you'll need to provide them backdoor access to your business almost on a daily business so they can sort out very superficial things that they are incapable of resolving. Please stay away from this crap if you dont want to be frustrated.
